A project demonstrating photography and art direction. A story is told in a hundred thousand words per glace, smile, smirk expression. It makes you ask yourself what is their story, what's mine? To think that each person has a life as complex as our own.
This project took over 2 years to complete. 100+ people were involved and I thank each and everyone who was involved!
Some people were only months old and others almost a century old. Each mark is a secret, a story to be told.
Please note: This project is not to infringe, or copy, or imitate, or appropriate various cultures that use face paintings or markings of any sort. Each mark was inspired at the moment and complemented the model's facial features or otherwise. This is an art project for free expression of how each person is to be celebrated as an individual with stories to tell.
